I really can't narrow down to one thing I learned. I feel strongly that every teacher should go through this course. Teachers do not seem to be knowledgeable enough in how to put together an effective unit. I think the template for the unit plan is excellant but there are so many other things within Intel that are so awesome and useful for a teacher in planning a unit.
I think our teachers would be more acceptable of the course if it were presented in smaller segments. They are so overwhelmed with just daily teaching and RTI, that a course of this level would put them over the cliff. Smaller doses would be accepted much easier. And they would maybe use the ideas more in their classes.
